Home for the Holidays

Over here in sunny Los Angeles it is FINALLY cooling down, which for us… does not happen often. So pardon our over exuberance for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday where we will (hopefully) be cozying up and wearing layers upon layers of our latest vintage finds.

If you are feeling uninspired as to what to wear on America’s national day of eating, drinking and thankfulness, worry not, for we have compiled a few visual aids to assist you fabulous femmes.

Sandy Dunes

We love how the creamy white June Poncho pairs over the flowy, feminine Gwen Two-Piece. Pair this look with a heeled boot and floppy hat for your Thanksgiving holiday spent in a small beachside town like Cambria, California.

Omakase Dining

Perhaps you and your loved ones are a little more untraditional and prefer the finer things in life… like table service at a Michelin star restaurant. For that occasion, we love the thought of the vibrantly colored Maggie Dress paired with the softer hued Layla Kimono, add a pair of black ankle boots and your look will be as righteous as your dinner.

Aspen Trees

For those of you who have late autumn and winter sports on the mind during your little holiday getaway you’re going to need a warm coat. We only condone wearing vintage furs and the Trousdale Coat is as good as it gets. Pair it with the Lover Blouse, one that can stand on it’s own but doesn’t take away from the coat while it’s on.

Nepenthes Sky

Whether you’re cooking or just consuming this dress will turn heads. The applique moons add the perfect amount of playfulness to the otherwise dramatic and romantic Priestess Dress, perfect to wear near the redwood forests of Big Sur. Pair it with a colorful slip if you are feeling extra fun!

Pioneertown

One of our favorite places to visit is the high desert, we love it year round but there’s something special about the soft light that late autumn casts across the desert land. The days are cool and the nights are cooler so you’re going to need some layers to peel off and on. The Indian Summer heavy cotton blouse is a perfect base, and when that desert sun sets and it’s time to marvel at the stars after dinner, put on the heavy wool Autumn Vest.

Sonoma Valley

Horses, winery’s and fields of green- with plenty of outdoor things to do you’re going to want to have on a sturdy pair of pants with a perfect bell hem like the Lucy Cords, you will also need an effortless and versatile top like the Julia Shirtand for an extra layer why not covet the Dustin Blazer.

A-Frame Weekend

Navigating the small mountain towns of Idyllwild, Lake Arrowhead and Wrightwood always gets us in the holiday spirit. Their locals only vibes can be intimidating from afar but if you dress the part, you can play the part! So bring along your Dawn Overalls and layer them with the casual and unassuming Charlie Shirtwith the Julia Shirt worn underneath it all you are sure to make some friends at the local watering hole.

Until next time,
